End of School Year Help is Available!
All students need to start sessions on time and come prepared with calculator, math text and/or notes, and any tools required.
Students need a reliable internet connection! Also, while you may be able to join our Zoom meetings from a phone, this is not the best way to see our shared board and get the most from these meetings. We suggest you use a device that allows a full screen view with a headset.
The group needs to be able to hear and concentrate. Please find a quiet spot with minimal distractions to join the group. No background TV, music, etc. If your location becomes a problem for others you may be asked to disconnect from the session.
No bullying or criticizing of others in the group will be tolerated. No inappropriate emails or language in session will be allowed.
Priority for topics will be given to any homework problems or questions submitted before each session. Each student should get some time to discuss their concerns or questions in each session. You must work on your own in addition to these sessions (in other words, we cannot do all homework for you).
It takes a bit to get to know a group and decide if the group is working for you. We are asking students to commit for a month at a time.
Sometimes parents are interested in tutoring sessions. Since this is a small group session, to be most fair to the members of the group, participants should be paying students only. Parents are welcome to view in the background as silent observers. Any other arrangements can be addressed with private tutoring sessions upon request.
